These are actual customer reviews of the e-book and paperback versions of Little Moments Of Truth. It should be noted I gave away 219 FREE copies of the 4th edition of this book. To this date, only one of these reviews was received from someone who got that FREE 4th edition, (granted it was a book reviewer who gave it 5 stars) but still . Those other 218 people are to blame for me deciding that FREE books are not appreciated and I will never make that mistake again. With that having been said, most of these book reviews are from the 1st-3rd editions on various sites. Amazon in all its various countries, and B &N.
Great suspense! Highly intriguing! Intense! A very exciting story that will keep you guessing until the very end! You gotta read this book! I’m glad I did!-bisongal
A real page turner! One exciting story after another! I couldn’t put it down!-underpaidpeon
What a great read! Do not be put off by the subject of war, it is so much more than that. A well written, suspense filled story, which will keep you engrossed until the end.-sparrklie
I definitely thought it was an interesting story. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have read it so fast. I liked the characters throughout the story, Sue, Tom, the couple at the motel. It all made for a good story. However, I did find a few mistakes along the way and think more editing could not have hurt.-Christine
I thought the story was well written. It kept me intrigued and the ending was different than I expected. Worth reading.- Bobarian
Print Version review–“A good, well written book that I liked. I expected an happier ending. But I am going to buy a copy!”- Joray
Print and ebook review-Little Moments of Truth by JB Thomas
War memories are relived and explanations as to why things are done the way they are in boot camp are brought to light. I always wondered about how the day is done from what my son had told me of his days in boot camp.
This book is more about nightmares and the Vietnam War days. Like how you can tell the difference between the past and the present.
Ron has left his wife, Sue to get things settled in his mind. He is with the help of a laptop writing it all down so
he can get it out of his system once and for all. He knows someone is watching him if not his wife as well and he’s determined to finish his task.
Among all the hallucinations there was a moment he remembered a talk his mom was having with his dad.
This book is laid back in a way and fast paced in the same way. Much action packed and not only talks of the war but
other things as they are relevant to the story.Know many who served over there and was always sad to see/hear how they were
treated upon returning, this is an insight for me as to what happened over there.-Jbarr
There also have been several generic replies from people who read the printed version such as “Good book, I loved the characters, I liked it, and so forth.”. One was even from someone who does not like me, but now wants to be a beta reader, lol!
(Note: One reviewer stated plainly that they expected an happier ending. I personally do not view that as a realistic expectation from any book. However, in the interest of full disclosure have chosen to include that review.)
This book was just released but already has one 5 star review at Amazon(US) and 2 five star reviews from the beta readers.

Shadow Shifters by JB Thomas Was excited to get to read this book as I’ve read other works by the author and enjoyed the read. Glad to know upfront that there will be 3 books in this series-I like a short series of books and I will be able to finish it quickly as I know there will be others. I won’t have to put this book down, not wanting it to end because it does not end, there will be more. Interesting links led me to hear what others who’ve experienced these and what they have said about their personal experiences. Love learning new things and there are many things to learn about as the story goes on. Loved all the technical explanations of occurrences as I’ve experienced a few myself and never thought to learn more about them, at the time. Found the different angles from others enlightening throughout the book. Handful of characters and each one is so different and you learn about their talents. As the story goes on you begin to realize what is happening and in your mind you put the puzzle pieces together til it comes together-throughout the book there are clues-can’t skip to the end to find out the conclusion… Lots of different components compiled make this a fascinating read! Loved the travel and this will make a perfect gift for our teen granddaughter for Christmas! I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest review. I rate this 5 stars out of 5.
This second review is from a normal reader, who after reading my first book, wished to become a beta reader.-
SHADOW SHIFTERS – This book is a good read. The characters are very well defined and the storyline is captivating. I really enjoyed this book. The only thing I don’t like about it is that I have to wait for the next book to get on with the story. *****
From the Amazon UK website–
The characters bring a mix of science and the paranormal into the story. Their roles are unique and their individual journeys through the book make them interesting and left me wanting more.
This book is the first in a series of 3 and I cannot wait to read the next installment.
It is not a typical horror book; it’s so much more.
Will appeal to teenagers and upwards.
