Why is the U.S. Government stealing from the American people?

This might be new news for some of you, but there are quite a few Americans that have figured this out. I am curious why they just sit back, knowing their government is reaching into their pockets and taking money, that they never plan on giving back…ever!

Now let’s be clear, I am not talking about taxes. Although between city, county, and U.S. Governments, and the tax they put on everything you buy, you are already paying the government 50% of your income every year, and then you are taxed on that again, at tax time. We all know we will never see half of our money every year, what we do not know is that besides the taxes, we also will never see the social security and Medicaid, that is taken out of our pay checks.

Well, maybe some will. But there is a growing number of people, that will never see any of that money, because the government has been putting up laws, to keep you from getting YOUR money.

Did you know if you do what most people do, then there is a chance every cent you paid in social security and Medicaid you will never, ever see or be reimbursed for. Why is that? Because the government took YOUR money and blew it on whatever they wanted to, and now they can’t pay you your money back.

You see the average person, grows up, gets a job, and begins paying taxes, social security, and Medicaid. Then if they get lucky, they find someone to start a family with. This is the normal order of events for most people. Of course, there are exceptions but we are not here to discuss the few exceptions.

If either of those parents decides to stay home with their kids and devote more time into raising those kids properly, the U.S. Government has set up laws to make sure, you can be punished for doing so. They already have the laws in place now. Obviously the next step, is going to be pulling more people into their theft trap, but let’s not go there just yet. Let’s finish talking about the parent who stays home to raise those kids.

If a parent stays home to raise their kids and becomes disabled, then they are automatically screwed out of all the social security and Medicaid they paid, before they stopped working, to raise kids. Not only are they ineligible for receiving disability, the government keeps your money forever, because you are disabled and can’t work.

If you have not worked in 10 years(staying at home raising kids is not considered work)then you cannot collect your social security or disability benefits, unless you made enough money to qualify. Chances are, most of you did not think, you had to work such and such amount of time, in order to receive your money back, when you are disabled.

Here is a picture from my most recent doctors visit(Yesterday). It clearly displays all the things wrong with my health.image

It does not take a genius to figure out I have some serious medical issues but I can’t get disability. Someone, anyone in the government explain to me, why any parent who becomes disabled while raising kids, does NOT deserve disability!

If the U.S. Government is fine with making people suffer for being a good parent, what makes anyone think they won’t be next. YOU WILL BE NEXT!

I must call my doctor back today and tell him I cannot afford to pay for the medicine he prescribed, because I cannot get back even a single cent of the money I paid into social security or Medicaid, before I became a House Husband for 22 yrs. I must be humiliated because my government robbed me of my money. I must suffer for being a good parent and raising good kids. This is the message YOUR government is sending to you.

To top off the matter, I am poor enough that I should qualify for Medicaid, but because my republican governor refused Obama care money, I don’t qualify. But yet, I am still expected to get health insurance, when I can’t afford it, because I am spending all my money, on just trying to stay alive.

I hope the raping and pillaging of the American people ends soon. I hope Americans will wake up and decide that the lying and thieving must end, if we the people are to endure.

As for me, I realize I will likely be dead before that happens. I can guarantee that, if I see my death coming because of this, I won’t go silently, I won’t go calmly, and I won’t go alone!

Please wake up people before the moment arrives, when it is too late to save our nation, and all of its future generations.

So let me see if I got this right(about health care and poverty levels)

I did some checking and apparently even when(if ever) the new health care law kicks in, our family won’t be poor enough to qualify for it. WTF? I went to see why this would be. Apparently, If you have a family of 3 (two adults and one kid) and both adults were earning ONLY minimum wage, you would not qualify because you make too much. Even further analyzing this we can see, that if a single parent with one child, and works full time at MINIMUM wage makes too much to be considered poor. A single parent making minimum wage makes too much money to be considered poor?

Now hold on, who the fuck figured this shit out? Apparently the same people who decided what going to be the minimum wage also decided it was too much money to be making and considered poor. I have no idea why the republicans were concerned about this bill. The only people this is going to help are those who are already getting help. Here is the link for federal poverty levels if you want to check it out for yourself.

Figures! So hey government fuckheads, come arrest my ass right now, cause I am not going to let my kid starve so I can buy health insurance!!!!

Health Care in America…

I am sure if I wanted to, I could post a link or two, to other posts and articles about health care in America. But then I would be left with which links to post and how many to post entering into my mind. You would have to be totally blind and stupid to not know anything about this subject and that there are way too many links to post regarding this matter. (There is a poll at the bottom of the post if you just feel like voting)

With that in mind, no links to outside articles or posts will be included in this post. It is not really required anyway as I can approach this subject from a personal point of view.I am one of those 46 million people often spoke about as the un-insured.

Most of the time when things are spoken of and facts and figures are given, a face or name is never given or viewed and perhaps it is human nature to do such things. However, in doing so we tend to take the humanity away from the subject and it losses it’s true meaningfulness. With this post, it is my goal to bring the personal nature of health care into the light and hopefully the humanity of the situation will be more readily viewable for all.

I, having no health care insurance plan, do dread trips to the doctor. For the pre-knowledge that every expense shall have to be paid for out of pocket with cash on hand, does make a visit to the doctor something to deeply fear. “What if I do not have enough money?” and “What if I spend too much, how will the bills be paid?” are questions that usually enter the mind before you have even entered the doctors office. Having these types of concerns must be pretty common though as being a house-husband and raising kids does not garner any type of health care insurance. I guess raising good kids that will help improve America’s future is not on the high priority list for health insurance though.

So knowing I have no health insurance and having kids to take care of means that doctors visits are at the very bottom of things needed to be done. If going to the doctor means you cannot afford to feed the kids or pay the electric bill, then there will be no doctor visit. That is why it was 8 months I waited to see a doctor about my problems. In October of 2008, I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and a multi-nodular goiter. After seeing a regular doctor and 2 endocrinologists I was diagnosed with Grave’s disease also. Yes, Hyperthyroidism and Grave’s disease are both potentially fatal if not treated in a timely manner. If you have done the math you can clearly see it has been nearly 9 months since diagnosed and 17 months since the problems 1st started.

A couple of the doctors were even nice enough to inform me that I probably should be dead or at least been in the hospital by now.

You might thinking that this problem should have been fixed by now and I certainly could not agree with you more, but this is the result of no health care insurance. Until my medicine completely stops working and I end up going into cardiac arrest or coma and have to be taken the the emergency room, there will be no treatment of my condition. Current law only requires hospitals to treat patients through the emergency room. Basically, I have to hope to be at risk of dying in order to get the treatment I need!

Of course, this chain of events has made me look back on my life and wonder if deciding to stay at home and devote myself to raisng good kids( you know, those kids with respect for their elders and good grades) was such a good decision. After all, if I would have decided to work instead I might have been able to afford health insurance. Something is obviously wrong here when a person, born in America, who worked in America, and who did his best to raise kids that will improve America has to doubt his decision to be un-selfish and stay at home. I feel like I did something wrong and am now being punished for it.

Well, I did say that this post was going to be personal and I hope that I clearly spoke of how it is to be one of the 46 million who is without health care insurance. I realize that no matter what I say, there will always be those with strong opinions and they will want to say something negative about this post. Before you do and waste both your time and mine, keep in mind a few things. If your reply is vulgar, rude, or unconstructive it will be deleted.  With that in mind feel free to speak your mind or vote in the poll below.

Thx for taking the time to read this,
